Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to support full-cycle hiring for store and field leadership positions across a nationwide retail organization. This remote consulting opportunity will partner closely with hiring leaders, HR business partners, and talent acquisition stakeholders to identify, attract, assess, and hire high-quality management talent.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on recruiter with a strong sourcing background, excellent stakeholder-management skills, and the ability to manage several concurrent searches in a fast-paced environment. This person will help build durable talent pipelines while delivering a responsive, high-quality experience for candidates and internal partners.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the full recruitment lifecycle for management and leadership openings across assigned markets and business areas.
- Consult with hiring managers and HR partners to clarify talent needs, develop recruiting plans, and align on candidate profiles.
- Create and execute targeted sourcing strategies for active requisitions and future hiring needs.
- Identify, engage, screen, and assess active and passive candidates for management-level roles.
- Leverage applicant tracking systems, professional networks, social platforms, market research, referrals, outreach, and talent mapping.
- Develop and maintain candidate pipelines for priority markets and leadership functions.
- Provide market insights, competitive intelligence, and recommendations to support effective hiring decisions.
- Communicate search progress, candidate feedback, risks, and next steps clearly and proactively.
- Deliver a professional, timely candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
- Adapt recruiting strategies quickly as business priorities and hiring needs evolve.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.
- 5–10+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Experience recruiting for high-volume, multi-location, retail, operations, or leadership-focused environments.
- Demonstrated success sourcing through online research, social platforms, networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Strong candidate evaluation, relationship-building, and consultative partnership skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.
- Ability to prioritize multiple searches and projects in a changing environment.
- Sound business judgment, curiosity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
