Position: Research and Analytics, Group Director
Location: New York, NY – 2 days in office, 3 remote
Rate: $150-200k (plus benefits)

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a senior analytics leader to shape and elevate how performance is measured across brands, campaigns, websites, and digital experiences. This role combines strategic leadership with ability to connect data, insights, and business goals to drive meaningful results.
This individual will help advance the organization’s analytics capabilities, build scalable measurement frameworks, and enable teams to use data more effectively across client work and internal growth initiatives. The position sits at the intersection of strategy, creative, and technology, with the opportunity to influence how performance is defined, communicated, and improved. Working closely with clients, this person will help articulate, position, and expand our analytics capabilities with both strategic credibility and commercial impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead measurement strategy, KPI development, and reporting approaches across a variety of digital initiatives.
  • Translate business objectives into actionable analytics plans that support smarter decisions and stronger performance visibility.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to embed measurement into planning, execution, and optimization efforts.
  • Guide both qualitative and quantitative research initiatives to uncover meaningful insights.
  • Develop scalable templates, tools, and best practices that improve analytics maturity across the business.
  • Present insights and performance narratives in a clear, strategic, and actionable way.
  • Contribute to new business efforts by shaping measurement strategies and analytics deliverables.
  • Strengthen internal processes, QA standards, and analytics documentation.

Reporting & Technical Focus

  • Create and refine dashboards in tools such as Looker Studio and Tableau, with an emphasis on clarity and business impact.
  • Oversee analytics architecture across platforms including GTM, GA4, reporting tools, and database integrations.
  • Implement and maintain tracking for key user behaviors such as form submissions, scroll engagement, and video activity.
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure accurate tagging, dependable data collection, and strong quality assurance.

What We’re Looking For

  • Significant experience in digital, marketing, or web analytics, ideally within an agency setting.
  • Advanced knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, and Tableau.
  • Experience building analytics strategies and leading implementation across complex digital programs.
  • Hands-on expertise in event tracking, data layers, and measurement infrastructure.
  • Working familiarity with SQL or relational databases.
  • Ability to translate technical findings into compelling business insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with SEO/AEO analytics, experimentation, or workflow automation tools is a plus.
