Senior Digital Designer (Freelance)
Remote | 40 Hours/Week | June 2026 – February 2027 (minimum)
Our client in the online sports industry is seeking a Senior Digital Designer to support major marketing initiatives leading into the NFL season and beyond.
This is not a production-only design role. We are looking for a designer who can both concept and execute, helping shape campaign creative while also producing assets across multiple digital channels.
PORTFOLIO REQUIRED
Must Have Experience:
- 4-7+ years of professional digital design experience
- Portfolio featuring paid social, CRM/email, campaign, and digital marketing creative
- Experience concepting and executing marketing campaigns
- Experience creating assets for paid social and performance marketing channels
- Experience working in high-volume, fast-paced creative environments
- Ability to take projects from concept through final execution
- Advanced proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects
- Strong knowledge of sports and sports culture
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Must provide your own laptop, software licenses, and equipment
Preferred Experience:
- Sports betting, fantasy sports, gaming, or sports media knowledge / experience
- Consumer app or technology company experience
- Brand launch experience
- Growth marketing or performance marketing experience
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative concepts for digital marketing campaigns
- Create assets for paid social, CRM, email, and digital advertising
- Support seasonal campaigns and major brand initiatives
- Extend creative across multiple formats and platforms
- Partner with marketing, design, and project management teams
- Balance conceptual thinking with hands-on production work
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of digital marketing creative
- Excellent typography, layout, and visual design skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for sports and sports-related content
Please note: Candidates whose backgrounds are primarily UX/UI, packaging, print, or traditional brand design are unlikely to be considered.
