Senior Manager, Events
This role leads the strategy, planning, and delivery of high-visibility events across professional, consumer, and internal audiences. The position is responsible for creating polished, brand-forward experiences, overseeing event operations from concept through execution, and ensuring each program supports business goals, audience engagement, and measurable results.
- Direct the planning and execution of major live events, including industry conferences, educational programs, brand experiences, leadership meetings, and employee gatherings.
- Own the full event lifecycle, from initial concept and timeline development through onsite management and post-event evaluation.
- Manage venue sourcing, supplier selection, contract negotiation, catering, production, registration, signage, travel coordination, and all related logistics.
- Build and oversee budgets for multiple events, balancing premium execution with cost control and financial accountability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align event goals, messaging, programming, guest strategy, and promotional support.
- Develop detailed project plans, production schedules, and event briefs to keep stakeholders aligned and deliverables on track.
- Guide the creation of invitations, event collateral, attendee communications, and supporting marketing assets in partnership with internal creative teams.
- Lead onsite event operations, ensuring a seamless guest experience, strong brand presentation, and smooth coordination across vendors and internal teams.
- Supervise and mentor junior event team members, delegating responsibilities effectively while supporting growth and performance.
- Partner with content and social teams to capture event moments for future marketing, brand storytelling, and digital distribution.
- Monitor event outcomes through attendance data, budget performance, stakeholder feedback, and business impact reporting.
- Identify opportunities to elevate event quality, improve processes, and introduce new ideas based on market trends and audience expectations.
- Represent the brand professionally at industry functions and live programs, maintaining a high standard of presentation and execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, hospitality, event management, or a related field.
- Several years of progressive experience leading events for premium brands, consumer-facing organizations, or highly regulated professional audiences.
- Demonstrated success managing complex programs with significant budgets and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong expertise in vendor management, contract review, and operational planning.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project leadership skills.
- Experience managing direct reports and building high-performing teams.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and travel requirements.
