Job description

We are looking for a UnitedHealthcare Social Media Creative Strategist who blends business goals, audience insights, storytelling and platform expertise to develop compelling and innovative content strategies across social media channels. You will partner closely with marketing, creative, and paid media teams to concept and guide best-in-class social content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube. The role will report to the Director of Digital Content Strategy on the Enterprise Brand Marketing team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Turn business needs, audience insights, trends and performance data into clear creative briefs and content direction
  • Concept and guide compelling and culturally relevant social media content that taps into trends, moments and consumer behavior in strategic ways.
  • Tailor content to platform best practices and platform-native features.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers, video producers, creators and sponsored partners to bring those ideas to life.
  • Ensure all creative reflects brand voice, tone and compliance standards.
  • Partner with paid social media teams so that content reaches the desired audience.
  • Produce monthly and ad-hoc social media performance reports, including insights to inform and improve future creative.
  • Demonstrate UnitedHealthcare cultural values in day-to-day execution

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a social-first marketing or digital content role with proven ability to develop high-performing social media campaigns
  • Experience using data and insights to inform creative decision making
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their content formats including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.
  • Commitment to staying current on emerging social and digital trends, audience behaviors, and platform capabilities; willingness to test and iterate approaches.
  • 5+ years of Microsoft Office suite experience including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare or another regulated industry
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools
  • Experience working within a matrix organization and a team player
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity with flexibility and confidence
  • Demonstrated effective problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities from inception to completion
  • Excellent written & verbal communications skills and comfort presenting ideas to stakeholders
