Our client is seeking an Owned Social Strategist to lead Instagram and organic social strategy for a fast-growing Podcasts platform focused on video-first discovery and cultural storytelling.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who knows how social drives content discovery and has experience managing high-profile branded channels at scale.
What you’ll do
- Own and manage a primary Instagram channel for Podcasts content
- Develop and execute social strategy focused on discovery, engagement, and growth
- Turn video podcast content into high-performing social clips and formats
- Oversee large-scale clipping and ongoing content programming
- Partner with agencies for QC, publishing, and execution
- Align closely with marketing teams on campaign planning and releases
- Identify cultural moments and trends for real-time content opportunities
- Support occasional off-hours coverage for key launches
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years in social/digital marketing with strong branded channel management experience
- Proven experience running Instagram for a high-profile or highly scrutinized brand
- Strong background in video-first social content and editorial curation
- Experience managing agencies, vendors, or external creative partners
- Strong grasp of social analytics, audience insights, and performance optimization
- Ability to manage multiple content streams within a single brand ecosystem
- Excellent storytelling, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Big plus
- Deep familiarity with podcast culture and major shows across genres
- Experience in podcast, music, entertainment, or creator-driven environments
- Hands-on experience with TikTok or emerging short-form platforms
- Portfolio of social content or channel work
- Experience launching or scaling social channels
