We’re looking for a Sr. Product Development Manager to drive strategic product development and lifecycle management. You will focus on formulation, prototyping, testing, and go-to-market execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet consumer needs and business goals. What You’ll Do
Strategic Product Development
- Lead end-to-end product development initiatives, including concept, formulation, prototyping, testing, and launch.
- Drive innovation by identifying opportunities in ingredients, technologies, and product formats.
- Define and oversee product testing protocols, quality control processes, and regulatory compliance.
- Optimize existing SKUs for performance, cost, and scalability, including SKU rationalization as needed.
Product Management & Execution
- Maintain timelines and project plans for product initiatives, working cross-functionally with marketing, sourcing, production, and design teams.
- Lead seasonal project strategy roadmaps, including all product go-to-market and growth initiatives.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to determine pricing, positioning, and feature differentiation.
- Collaborate with leadership to translate brand vision into actionable product objectives.
- Monitor product performance and iterate quickly to maximize impact and consumer satisfaction.
Sourcing & Vendor Management
- Develop relationships with local and international vendors and manufacturers to support product initiatives.
- Manage vendor performance, quality, and timelines to ensure product excellence.
- Optimize costs and minimum order quantities (MOQs) while balancing quality, service, and scalability.

- Demonstrated success in shipping products that balance scientific credibility, user experience, and commercial performance.
- Strong strategic thinking skills paired with a bias toward hands-on execution and delivery.
- Ability to inspire, align, and communicate across teams from R&D to Marketing to Operations.
- Comfort operating at both strategic and tactical levels, with a readiness to roll up your sleeves.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance short-term deliverables (launches, cost optimization) with long-term innovation and brand evolution.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5-7 years of experience in strategic product development, product management, or project management in eCommerce, health, beauty, or wellness.
- Strong expertise in formulation, prototyping, testing, and regulatory compliance.
- Track record of launching innovative, high-quality products and managing end-to-end lifecycle.
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon) and DTC operations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive product decisions.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Startup mentality: proactive, creative, and results-driven.
- Experience with FDA clearance or QSR compliance for medical devices is a plus.
