We’re seeking a Technical Designer with strong children’s apparel experience to help bring styles from concept through production with a focus on fit, quality, and consistency.
Responsibilities
- Create and update tech packs with measurements, construction details, and garment specifications
- Review prototypes and production samples for fit, quality, and overall execution
- Lead fit sessions and recommend adjustments to improve fit and construction
- Partner with design, production, and compliance teams throughout the development process
- Communicate technical comments and revisions clearly to vendors and manufacturing partners
- Help update and maintain fit standards across multiple children’s apparel categories
- Support product development with a strong understanding of safety and quality requirements for kids’ garments
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience in technical design with high standards for fit consistency
- 5+ years of experience in children’s apparel
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking, and fit evaluation
- Experience working with both knit and woven products
- Ability to manage detailed specifications and communicate updates effectively
- Proficiency in Excel and Word; Illustrator
