Technical Designer – Target Certified
Our client is seeking a Target-certified Technical Designer to support their Juniors and Kids categories. This is an individual contributor role and is not a management position.
What You Will Do
- Support technical design and product development for Juniors and Kids categories.
- Apply Target technical design processes, standards, and requirements throughout development.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate fit, construction, specifications, and measurements.
- Manage technical details independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
What We Are Looking For
- Target-certified Technical Designer required.
- BPTD certification preferred; BPFE certification will also be considered.
- Direct experience working within Target’s technical design environment.
- Experience in Juniors and/or Kids preferred; candidates certified in other Target categories may be considered.
- Strong knowledge of fit, construction, specifications, measurements, and technical product development.
- Experience across multiple brands is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently in a collaborative environment.
Los Angeles is preferred, with an ideal schedule of full-time onsite. Remote consideration may be available for candidates outside the LA area with strong Target technical design experience.
