Position Summary
The Trade Marketing Manager will lead and execute trade marketing initiatives across key retail partners in the Americas region. This individual will drive strategic alignment between sales, marketing, and retail teams to deliver best-in-class programs that maximize brand visibility, conversion, and growth.
This role is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive trade marketing strategies, managing end-to-end campaign execution, and optimizing retail performance through data-driven insights. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in beauty or consumer brands with a strong understanding of retailer ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of seasonal and long-term retailer-specific trade marketing strategies, including product launches and exclusive programs
- Create and distribute detailed campaign toolkits, ensuring alignment on timelines, assets, and deliverables across teams
- Partner with Global Marketing to align on campaign strategy, ensuring all retailer-specific content, assets, and copy requirements are delivered on time
- Own retailer creative needs across dotcom, social, and in-store collateral from brief through final delivery
- Ensure all retailer assets are delivered on time, on brand, and in accordance with specifications
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support digital marketing initiatives that drive retailer performance and engagement
- Partner in the development and optimization of PDP (product detail page) content to improve conversion rates and digital shelf presence
- Manage retailer product setup processes, ensuring all forms, assets, and documentation are completed and submitted accurately and on schedule
- Maintain and update retailer marketing calendars, promotional trackers, and internal reporting tools
- Track and manage all trade marketing initiatives, ensuring documentation is organized, up to date, and accessible
- Conduct post-campaign and post-launch analysis, delivering insights and recommendations to inform future programs
- Lead ratings and reviews seeding programs, tracking performance and optimizing for impact across retailer sites
- Support planning and execution of trade marketing activations and events, including vendor coordination, timelines, and onsite execution as needed
- Manage trade marketing budgets and purchase orders, including tracking spend and supporting invoice processing
- Coordinate new product launch (NPL) sampling and comps for retailers, partnering with sales and supply chain to ensure timely delivery
Qualifications
- 4–7+ years of experience in trade marketing, retail marketing, or shopper marketing within beauty or consumer goods
- Strong understanding of key beauty retailers (e.g., Sephora, Ulta, department stores, and/or specialty retail)
- Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical mindset with experience evaluating campaign performance and driving optimization
- Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to balance strategic thinking and execution
