Wholesale Customer Service & Sales Operations Manager
We are seeking an experienced Wholesale Customer Service & Sales Operations Manager to support a growing wholesale business. This role is essential to ensuring smooth execution across wholesale sales, order management, production, inventory, and shipping. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized operator who understands the pace and complexity of servicing wholesale accounts and can act as a central point of coordination across internal teams and external partners.
Position Overview
This role will focus heavily on the day-to-day management of wholesale customer service and sales operations. The person in this position will help oversee the full wholesale order lifecycle, from account communication and order entry through inventory visibility, shipping coordination, and issue resolution. Success in this role requires deep experience supporting wholesale accounts, strong systems knowledge, and the ability to keep multiple moving pieces aligned.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for wholesale customer service and account communication
- Partner closely with the sales team to manage wholesale order flow, reorders, and ongoing account needs
- Support wholesale accounts by providing timely updates on inventory, production timelines, and shipment status
- Run and maintain ATS (Available To Sell) reports to give the sales team clear visibility into inventory availability
- Process and manage EDI orders accurately across systems
- Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure wholesale orders are fulfilled accurately and delivered on time
- Oversee shipping execution, including tracking, routing, shipment updates, and communication with accounts and sales reps
- Maintain accurate data across wholesale systems and platforms including ApparelMagic, NuORDER, Shopify, and ShipStation
- Ensure all wholesale orders, invoices, shipping details, and account information are current and accurate
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to wholesale orders, inventory, shipping, and account servicing in a timely, professional manner
Ideal Candidate
- 7–10+ years of experience in wholesale operations, wholesale customer service, or sales support within apparel or a related industry
- Strong understanding of the wholesale business cycle, including order management, reorders, inventory allocation, and account servicing
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably ApparelMagic, plus EDI and inventory management tools
- Experience working with wholesale and commerce platforms such as NuORDER, Shopify, and ShipStation
- Exceptional organizational skills and close attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented approach
- Ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and operational priorities in a fast-paced environment
