Womens Apparel Designer
We are seeking a Freelance Womens Apparel Designer to support a fast-paced, high-volume apparel environment. Key Responsibilities
- Develop trend-informed apparel concepts, sketches, and technical flats for women’s product categories.
- Support the design and development lifecycle from initial inspiration through production-ready execution.
- Create and maintain detailed tech packs, specifications, and product information.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners in product development, production, and merchandising.
- Interpret market trends and customer preferences into wearable, commercially viable designs.
- Ensure design consistency, quality, and alignment with business goals.
- Work independently while managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
- Leverage design software and emerging tools to improve workflow and innovation.
Qualifications
- Experience in women’s apparel design, product development, or a related field.
- Strong sketching, technical design, and garment construction skills.
- Experience creating tech packs and managing product details with accuracy.
- Ability to apply trend research and market knowledge to product development.
- Strong balance of creative vision and technical execution.
- Comfort working in a deadline-driven environment with quick turnaround times.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with AI-supported design tools is a plus.
