What You’ll Do
- Manage product development calendars, milestones, samples, and approvals across seasonal collections.
- Partner with Design, Technical Design, and Production on fabrics, trims, construction, fit, costing, and production readiness.
- Coordinate with overseas vendors and factories to manage timelines, resolve issues, and ensure development deliverables are completed on time.
- Support fabric and trim sourcing, custom color development, testing, BOM updates, and sample management.
- Identify risks related to sourcing, construction, cost, quality, and timing, and recommend solutions proactively.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of product development experience within fashion or apparel.
- Strong background in garment construction, textiles, sourcing, manufacturing, and costing.

Associate Product Developer
We are seeking an Associate Product Developer to support the development of apparel products from concept through production. This role will help manage a broad seasonal assortment and work closely with cross-functional teams to bring product to market on time, within cost targets, and in line with quality standards.
The right candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and categories. This person will partner with teams across design, merchandising, sourcing, technical design, sales, and production to support smooth development and execution from initial concept to final handoff.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the product development process across multiple apparel categories
- Manage development details from concept through production readiness
- Create and maintain product specs, costing information, and development documentation in PLM
- Track calendars, approvals, and milestones to help keep projects on schedule
- Review fabrics, trims, wash treatments, prints, and construction details

Freelance Assistant Designer
Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Freelance Assistant Designer to provide temporary support to its outerwear design team for a couple of months. This role will contribute to men’s, women’s, and kids’ outerwear programs across multiple brands including Eddie Bauer, Lands’ End, and Quiksilver Mens.
Responsibilities
- Support the outerwear design team throughout the product development process.
- Assist with design research, concept development, color and material coordination, and presentation preparation.

Associate Designer Key Responsibilities
- Support the technical design process for sweaters from concept through production.

- Track updates and maintain accurate technical documentation.

· Responsible for the design process, including market research, design, and guidance through fabric execution processes for Little Girl, Tween, and Baby collections across all categories including wovens, sweaters, and C&S
· Research seasonal trends, silhouettes, materials, and novelty techniques; bring new ideas through competitive shopping, research, and attending local vintage shows
· Develop seasonal collections in partnership with Merchandising, the Senior Design Director, and VP of Design from concept through completion
· Design into groups/styles that leverage qualities and concepts from womenswear and adapt them for Little Girl and Tween categories; additionally supplement with new standalone concepts specific to these categories
· Versatile in designing across all categories including dresses, tops, jackets, outerwear, bottoms, occasion dressing, sweaters, fleece, active, swim, and C&S
· Communicate comments for fabrics, combos, linings, mockups, embellishments, and other developments to overseas factories; troubleshoot and work with the team to ensure developments meet design standards
· Work on visual presentations for key meetings, ensuring boards and decks effectively communicate and align with the brand language; maintain updated flat sketches, CADs, layouts, and fabric development information
· Track the status of developments, ensure outstanding questions are resolved, and strategically plan workload to meet calendar goals
· Manage tech pack passing and adoption schedules; coordinate meeting scheduling and preparation
· Problem-solve calendar, deadline, and other issues with cross-department partners including Product Development, Production, and the Senior Design Director

- Lead the technical design process in bringing women’s products from initial sample stage through production readiness.
- Lead fit sessions, evaluate garment performance on body, and recommend adjustments to achieve consistency in silhouette, comfort, and sizing.
- Create and update detailed tech packs, measurement charts, construction notes, and fit comments for each style.
- Partner with overseas vendors and internal teams to communicate revisions related to fit, patterns, and garment engineering.
- Work closely with design, merchandising, production, and sales partners to ensure product intent is maintained throughout development.
- Monitor pre-production and production sample stages, including approvals and follow-up on required corrections.
