Job description

As the Data Collection Coordinator for our lifestyle brand client, you will be an integral teammate in accomplishing several research studies.  The role will focus on executing data collections in support of our clients Sport Research Lab Programs. This role will be responsible for the study coordination, facilitation, and execution of testing sessions.  This role will be athlete facing, therefore will prioritize delivering exceptional experiences for test participants. 

The ability to prioritize among multiple tasks is key to success in this fast-paced role. You will work on a team that supports and fuels athlete research and product innovation.  Working closely with our Research partners, you will contribute to the execution of multiple research studies.  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, will be one of the foundations on which you will base your work. Additionally, direct experience with athlete testing and the human body will be important components for this role. 



  • Bachelor’s degree focused on human performance, athletic training, kinesiology, or related field
  • 2+ years experience with athlete testing, developing and managing relationships
  • Experience delivering consumer or patient-centric experiences
  • 2+ years experience project management and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of athletic products, and the sport and fitness industry.
  • Technical competency to learn / navigate data collection software
  • True passion, desire to drive athlete and product benefit through research
  • Ability to handle multiple time sensitive priorities and communicate clearly
  • Ability to work independently to achieve business results
  • Presentation/communication skills for representing the team externally


  • Execute data collections in accordance with overall research team strategy
  • Manage scheduling, coordination and athlete interface related to athlete visits
  • Track project milestones and progress toward completion, providing regular updates to extended team
  • Analyze and reflect on data collection methods and tools to help inform and improve overall process and athlete experience
  • Prioritize test participant experience
