Senior Producer
Branding Agency focused on Broadway and the Arts
Full-Time, Salaried Position
Hybrid: flexible on and off-site role, but you must have access to get to Times Square
Salary: 90-110K (possibility more for the right fit)

Experience Level: 5-7 years of experience

This is a special opportunity for a Producer with a love of Broadway and the Arts. This industry was hit hard during the Pandemic, but they are growing back and looking to hire a Senior Producer (and a motion graphics/video editor, if you know of anyone!!).

They are operating in a hybrid model with employees coming in 2-3 days a week. They are not super strict about it, but ideally you are able to get to Times Square for shows and meetings.
Company size is about 70 people.

They need someone who has experience in video, tv, radio, and key art (still photo shoots).

This person should feel comfortable arranging everything for shoots including the pre shoot prep, on-site shoot arrangements, as well as post shoot deliverables. Should have experience creating/building budgets/estimates for these shoots as well as okay with some of the admin duties that are a part of this role.

They have an in house talent person who this Sr Producer would be working with but if this individual has experience with talent contracts/licensing agreements that would be amazing.

Senior Producer
As a key leader of the creative department, the Senior Producer is responsible for overseeing, planning,
executing all content deliverables including TV, radio, video, social and key art. This position works collaboratively with the broadcast, copy, social and design teams, as well as the account teams and entire agency to create content across all media.

You will be responsible for pre-shoot, on-set and post-shoot production.

Responsibilities:
Supervision of Broadcast and Creative Deliverables
- Oversee the internal producer in creating all deliverables including TV, radio and video content
- Collaborate with creative leadership, broadcast and social teams to create all content deliverables
- Management of shoot budgets and timelines
- Negotiate costs and timing with various vendors for the best product within budget
- Suggest photographers, directors, editors and illustrators that are appropriate for the execution of
creative concepts
- Communicate project details with talent dept to coordinate talent estimates and licensing agreements
- Work collaboratively with Producer’s pre-production and on-set responsibilities
- Oversee the producer to contact illustrators for availability and sketches for key art

Pre-production of TV, radio and video content
- Collaborate with creative leadership, broadcast and social teams to create all content deliverables
- Work closely with account teams to make sure all information has been supplied in creative briefs
- Schedule, plan and coordinate all shoots
- Responsible for estimating shoot budgets
- Create and manage shoot timelines
- Make sure editors have correct specs for all jobs
- Negotiate costs and timing with various vendors for the best product within budget
- Negotiate fees and hire vendors
- Contact talent and studios for rates/availability/booking
- Communicate project details with talent dept to coordinate talent estimates and licensing agreements
 

On-set responsibilities
- Collaborate with creative team and Producer to achieve goals of shoot
- Oversee load-in and wrap
- Manage shoot schedule
- Responsible for keeping shoot on schedule
- Oversee handling of talent on set
 

Post-production responsibilities
- Actualize budgets
- Oversee broadcast team’s workflow and scheduling of projects
- Oversee internal routing of broadcast projects
- Responsible for trafficking TV and radio spots
- Rights and usage of stock music/footage/images
- Secure VO talent availability and booking
- Facilitate in-house and out-of-house recording sessions
- Process vendor invoices


Key art shoot responsibilities
- Collaborate with design team to execute final artwork
- Secure photographer and illustrator availability and bookings
- Negotiate fees and terms with reps
- Create key art estimates
- Request licensing agreements
- Update licensing spreadsheet
 

Billing and Business Operations
- Responsible for actualizing estimates and processing production and creative billing
- Oversee the rights and usage of stock music/footage/images
- Administer licensing agreements with illustrators, photographers, production companies
- Process production purchase orders and invoices
- Negotiate agency licensing for existing creative, as needed
- Liaise with talent department on talent estimates and invoicing
- Maintain illustrator and photographer contract files
- Oversee drafting of purchase orders, production contracts, releases, music rights agreements, and other production/vendor documents (work with talent dept as needed)
- Negotiate contracts with third party vendors
- Work with external counsel to handle legal questions, copyright/trademark, music and image rights/clearance matters, as needed (work with talent dept as needed)
