Our client is a full service PR agency, WBENC-certified, which specializes in launching new products and services. They find new markets for existing products and move entrepreneurial ideas into the mainstream. They are looking for an Account Executive to join their team!

We are on the hunt for an A-player sales pro who has specifically worked in the PR, marketing, or news industry. This is an extremely specific peer-to-peer sale of a PR industry service that is used by account executives and account supervisors within PR agencies and by CMO’s and in-house marketers inside CPG brands. Specifically, we seek a team member to convert a list of 18,000 PR agency representatives to double our revenues by 2023. This person is being hired to grow our business, will work with our "pull approach," and daily in a trackable CRM system to measure success.
This is a position for a go-getter who will relentlessly make a minimum of 80 calls/touches a week and close 5 sales every month, at a minimum. If you have worked for PRNewsWire, MarketWire, BusinessWire, Vocus, Cision, Distinctive Assets, any celebrity gifting suites, or related companies, this will be a natural, fun and very lucrative job for you. Part of an extremely focused 5-year growth opportunity, this is a key position to grow this segment beyond our already 26,000 strong list of CPG companies in our database.
This position requires 4 things:
- A sales pro
- Someone who can articulate the difference between PR and advertising and why it is valuable
- Is tech and social media savvy (extra points if you know Infusionsoft)
- Has worked with, or for, some of the PR agencies listed above
We seek a sales professional who has equal abilities to:

- And close
It is important this person actively uses social media for selling, has an online presence and knows their way around LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. This team member must use, daily, a powerful database/autoresponder that serves as the backbone of our business. This is a robust CRM system with pre-templated sales materials, more than 26K leads, follow-up sequences, lead tracking, and more. We use Infusionsoft, which is not required for you to know in advance but easy to learn. This person must be extremely comfortable using technology day in and day out for all activities and reporting. We provide leads, training on the product and our approach, as well as ongoing Sandler Sales Training and all sales materials. Last, but not least, this person must be comfortable on the phone. Though we use email marketing as our primary outreach and social selling produces an exceedingly high hit rate, the old-fashioned telephone is a necessary business tool for success in this position.
