AI Usability ResearcherAI Usability Researcher Overview:
Our client is seeking a talented and passionate AI Usability researcher to join their team. In this role, you will play a critical role ensuring that AI-driven applications and systems are user-friendly, efficient, and aligned with user needs. Your primary focus will be on conducting usability research to identify user experience challenges, gather insights, and provide recommendations for improving the design and functionality of AI products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, product managers, developers, and data scientists, to create AI solutions that are intuitive and accessible.
AI Usability Researcher Responsibilities:
· Plan, design, and execute usability testing sessions to evaluate the user experience of AI products and features.
· Develop test scenarios and tasks that reflect real-world user interactions and goals.
· Engage with users to gather insights, feedback, and suggestions for improving AI system usability.
· Conduct surveys, interviews, and user feedback sessions to gain a deep understanding of user needs, pain points, and preferences.
· Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and developers to advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle.
· Translate user feedback into actionable design recommendations and requirements.
· Create low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes to illustrate potential improvements to the user interface and interaction flow.
· Champion accessibility and inclusivity by ensuring that AI products are usable by individuals with diverse needs, including those with disabilities.
· Analyze usability testing data and user feedback to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
· Generate comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
· Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in AI usability, human-computer interaction, and user experience design.
· Work closely with AI researchers, data scientists, software engineers, and other team members to understand the technical aspects of AI systems and effectively communicate usability requirements.
AI Usability Researcher Qualifications:
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, Cognitive Psychology, Computer Science, or a related field.
· Proven experience in conducting usability testing, user research, or UX design for software applications, preferably including AI or complex systems.
· Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
· Proficiency in usability testing tools, data analysis, and prototyping software.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
· Familiarity with AI concepts, technologies, and their implications for user interfaces.
· A portfolio demonstrating past projects related to usability research or UX design is a plus.
