Associate Denim Designer Overview:
As the Associate Denim Designer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day design of innovative product under direction of Senior Designer
Associate Denim Designer Responsibilities:
· Flats & Sketches – must sketch all designs in illustrator, paying close attention to details, keep sketches up to date through the design process
· Tech Packs – create and ensure all tech packs are complete with design components, fabric, trim, construction, washes, and details.
· Source and select fabric for each season, under direction of Senior Designer partnering with our suppliers to deliver
· Prepare for all presentations: assembling sketch boards, organizing proto reviews, meetings and following up on creative direction.
· Attend and participate in all fittings when required, prepping for production meetings
· Manage deadlines in accordance with the company calendar
· Develop strong working relationships with cross functional partners · Shop stores and research new styles
Associate Denim Designer Qualifications:
At least 4 yrs. experience; design degree required
· Knowledge of the denim development process
· Understanding of denim fabrics, washes, and construction
· Proficient in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
· Knowledge of working in a PLM program a MUST
· Ability to work in office on hybrid schedule
