Associate Designer -Men's Golf

Position Overview: The Associate Designer will play a pivotal role in the product lifecycle, contributing from conceptualization to final development. Under the guidance of the Sr. Designer and Creative Director, this role involves working on golf apparel, sportswear, and activewear collections.

Associate Designer Responsibilities:
• Create flat sketches for golf apparel, sportswear, and activewear, covering cut+sew knits, wovens, outerwear, sweaters, and bottoms.
• Ensure completeness of tech packs, including design components, fabric, and trim details.
• Input information into the Gerber Yunique PLM system.
• Organize and manage fabric selection for each season.
• Collaborate with overseas mills, factories, and offices.
• Conduct lab-dip and trim reviews, ensuring effective communication and organization.
• Manage deadlines according to the T&A calendar.
• Maintain clear records of all design development, including color, prints, trims, and reference materials.
• Prepare for presentations, assemble boards, organize proto reviews, and attend meetings.
• Participate in all fittings when required.
• Engage in market research by shopping stores and identifying new styles.
• Analyze competitors in both golf and golf lifestyle. 

Associate Designer Qualifications:
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, design-driven, and creative environment.
• Capacity to apply constructive feedback to enhance the design process.
• Knowledge of the apparel product development process.
• Understanding of garment components and construction.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Gerber Yunique PLM, and Windows applications (Outlook / Word / Excel).
• 2-3 years of experience working on a design or product development team.
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design. Apply for this job
