Our client, an entertainment agency in Los Angeles is looking for an Associate Producer to join their team!

Temp to hire
Remote but ideally you're in LA/OC area as they do go into the office occasionally for meetings
Salary: $60-$70k (DOE)


The primary focus of this position is to be a solution-oriented partner to the creative teams, business leads and our clients in bringing ideas to life through responsible and innovative creative solutions. The Producer demonstrates optimism amid challenges and always presents multiple options that maintain creative integrity, are fiscally responsible and keep the client goals in mind.

Job Responsibilities
• Maintains continuous knowledge of project status to identify any potential issues and or/opportunities within or related to specific projects
• Cultivates relationships with creative and production partners to ensure best solutions
• Identifies freelancers and external partners based on overall company objectives and project specs. Partners with creative business leads and talent team for approval
• Ensures all external resources are scheduled, followed up with, all paperwork in order, etc.
• Ensures 3rd party deliverables are completed per spec/expectation
• Contributes to creative ideation process and always seeks to elevate creative output
• Is well versed in industry trends and production innovation
• Develops overall project timeline for internal and external audiences – setting achievable milestones based on the project’s needs.
• Schedules internal creative reviews and milestone meetings
• Management of project schedule from kickoff to delivery
• Ensure Project Teams are balanced and understand daily project priorities
• Internal milestones and client/external milestones
• Manage day to day tasks and ensure team members are tracking according to the overall schedule and manage communication across team and client accordingly
• Maintain consistent electronic filing system for all assets (internal/third party/client) on project
• Manage internal/external meetings and calls
• Owner of communication and process within the team
• Takes and distributes meeting notes, follows up with team members as necessary post meeting
• Strives for ways to optimize/continuously improve internal production process 
• Accurately estimates external costs required to deliver scope
• Negotiates pricing for third party vendors
• Ensures project stays on track and within budget
• Works with Business Lead to manage project margin and identify potential issues
• Day to day client production contact
• Maintains rapport and trust with clients
