Consumer Promotions Manager Overview:

 

The Consumer Promotions Manager will create and manage promotional strategies that accelerate consumer acquisition, engagement, and retention. You will actively manage and oversee the promotions portfolio for all of Canada.

 

Consumer Promotions Manager Responsibilities:

 

• Solve one of the company's hardest challenges: consumer acquisition, engagement, and retention

• Work with complex data sets to develop strategic, analysis-motivated consumer pricing and promotions plans

• Analyze performance of promotions to assess incrementality, efficiency, post-campaign retention and profitability

• Support managing the promotional budget and perform analysis required for weekly reporting

• Support setting up promotional campaigns using internal tools and, when needed, creating in app banners, emails, and push notifications

• Work with our business partners across Strategy & Operations, and other Marketing teams to execute promotions and measure their performance and impact

 

Consumer Promotions Manager Qualifications

 

  • 5-7 years of experience either in pricing & promotions, growth marketing/ marketing analytics, business analytics, or management consulting.
  • Experience with managing and overseeing a large promotional or other marketing budget.
  • Strong grasp of key metrics to balance growth against efficiency constraints and how to drive key results for the business
  • Experience in influencing cross-functional partners across the business, and presenting recommendations to senior leadership
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • 1-2 years’ experience with SQL and dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau, Mode, Sigma). Possess knowledge of A/B testing and statistics
