Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Copy Editor IV to join our client’s Copy team. As a Copy Editor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and consistency of all written materials produced by our client. You will be responsible for reviewing and editing copy for a wide range of marketing and communication materials, including but not limited to product descriptions, website content, advertising campaigns, social media posts, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and proofread copy for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and style consistency.
- Ensure all written materials adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent tone and voice.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including writers, designers, and marketing strategists, to ensure copy meets project objectives and aligns with overall marketing strategies.
- Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and credibility of information presented in the copy.
- Identify and correct any errors or inconsistencies in grammar, spelling, and formatting.
- Provide constructive feedback and suggestions to writers to improve the clarity and effectiveness of their copy.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in copy editing and apply them to enhance the quality of the written materials.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and meet tight deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all copy materials.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Copy Editor, preferably in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Proficiency in AP Stylebook and other style guides.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.
- Excellent research skills to ensure accuracy and credibility of information.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
