Job description

Our client, a boutique ad agency focused on direct response is looking for a Creative Director. This is a fulltime position that is onsite in the LA area with some flexibility (1 day a week remote possible).

Responsibilities:

Lead visual and messaging strategies, conduct comprehensive communications analysis and competitor research, and develop original campaign angles based on data to drive campaign performance.

Partner and collaborate with multiple executive stakeholders including internal teams and external agency partners to launch successful Direct Response campaigns that build reputation equity and drive business results.
Leverage data, research and materials, including any segmentation study or the like, and marketing research from client, and client interviews, to develop creative strategy

Drive the discovery, ideation, planning, storyboarding and copywriting of each Creative Execution, in all forms of Media, with the Account Team and Client Singularly responsible for creative process, and managing creative workflow, and in coordination with Producer, managing project cost allocation and budgets.

Oversee campaigns work across major Direct Response investments, leading creative excellence across all media, and driving creative innovation

Provide steer and guidance that uplevels ideation, creative production and creative aesthetic across all staffing in coordination with Senior Management, on an annual basis, evaluate the creative needs of clients, and establish a Staffing

Oversee Direct Response initiatives and lead internal updates

Requirements:

Must have 10+ years of experience leading DRTV campaigns within an advertising or creative agency or inhouse studio
Excellent verbal and written communication, strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, problem solving, time and project management.
Ability to build and lead a team of writers, art directors and techs.
Ability to direct and provide leadership to a team in a fast-paced environment. Fluent in video concepting, pre-production, production and postproduction.
Grace under pressure with a strong sense of collaboration.
