Our client in the CPG space  is looking for a part time customer marketing manager to join their team!

Rate: $50-55/hr

About the role: The CMM is the key manager bridging Consumer Marketing and Field Sales. The CMM will be responsible for initiating, coordinating, and executing key programs and projects which are consistent with, and ensure the profitable achievement of, the key Brand objectives among our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Consumer Marketing and Sales in the development and execution of customer - specific programs which are consistent with the achievement of Brand objectives and result in significant sales and profit growth opportunities. This includes Shopper Marketing / affinity initiatives, Merchandising programs, and Special packs creation.
  • Ongoing assessment of the effectiveness and efficiency of customer promotional programs with recommendation to improve R.O.I.
  • Ensure the successful introduction of new products from a Sales execution standpoint including Establishment of packaging, merchandising, pricing, and launch timing parameters consistent with channel / customer requirements, development of a compelling, fact-based selling story and associated collateral selling materials to  generate strong customer “calls-to-action,” development of demand forecast in concert with Demand Management, Marketing, and Sales, Tracking results.
  • Development/execution of annual retail merchandising program by channel including: SKU line – up and distribution prioritization, promotional guidelines and timing --  along with Merchandising, Assortment, Pricing, and Shelving objectives (M.A.P.S.)
  • Collaboration with the Senior Associate Category Manager in the examination of key shipment, syndicated, and customer – specific data to identify opportunities for driving sales and profitability.
  • Facilitate internal approval of incremental funding proposals and vet opportunities for new distribution and program support.
  • Own cross - functional projects with Packaging, Engineer, Finance, and Creative from concept development to commercialization for customer - specific initiatives  

Qualifications:
•              Sales – related experience with customer / buyer interaction and strong Marketing collaboration
•              Broad channel exposure – with a focus on Grocery, Drug, and Value
•              Exceptional project management skills
•              Exceptional analytical skills
•              Exceptional computer skills – particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
•              Highly organized and able to work autonomously within a fast - paced environment
•              Strong interpersonal and presentation (oral and written) skills
•              Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or related field
