Job descriptionWe are actively seeking a skilled Off-Price Designer to lead the creative and strategic execution of seasonal product designs for our off-price segment. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing the development and execution of products while maintaining a focus on cost-effectiveness. Generate creative ideas for off-price products, aligning with market trends and consumer needs.
Coordinate and unify the creative execution of off-price products within the merchandise assortment strategy.
Research off-price market trends, themes, color, raw materials, and styling.
Negotiate cost-effective solutions with mills and factories to meet off-price budget constraints.
Follow through the approval process from BOM handoff to pre-production and TOPs with a cost-conscious approach.
Collaborate with stakeholders to address and resolve issues with a focus on off-price product approvals.
Responsible for fabric development and creation management according to off-price deadlines.
Collaborate with Merchandising, Production, and Technical Design to achieve off-price product execution.
Develop cost-effective solutions for yarn/fabric and trim with production and suppliers.
Approval of lab dips and fabric/yarn submits with a keen eye on cost implications.
Create and maintain detailed design documentation, including specifications, drawings, and prototypes, with a focus on cost considerations.
Coordinate sample invoices and work closely with the finance department to ensure cost-effective factory sample payment.
Bachelor's degree in Design, Product Design, or a related field.
4-6 years of design experience with a high taste level and creative ability, specifically in the off-price segment.
Working knowledge of garment construction, textiles, and pattern/fit, considering off-price constraints.
Knowledge of fabric/yarn construction and ability to conduct cost-effective color/print research.
Strong illustration/presentation skills.
Understanding of the brand with a focus on implementing cost-effective strategies into design.
Proven ability to research and apply off-price market/fashion trend information.
