Digital Google Tag Manager (GTM) Specialist Overview:
As a Digital Google Tag Manager (GTM) Specialist, you will be the go-to person for all Google Tag Manager operations. You will turn insights into action and help teams make data-backed decisions.
Digital Google Tag Manager (GTM) Specialist Responsibilities:
- Manage Google Tags (GTM) for web properties by overseeing implementation, coding and testing, and conducting ongoing maintenance
- Audit and clean up existing GTM tags
- Work with the business team to understand metrics and help with supporting segmentation
- Manage operations and governance of Google Analytics
- Manage permissions for tag and digital analytics tools
- Participate in continuous professional development to provide the best options to optimize and streamline the utilization of Google Analytics
Digital Google Tag Manager (GTM) Specialist Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or other related study
- 2 or more years of digital media experience
- Experience working in or supporting analytics for digital media, with working knowledge of Google Analytics / Ads / Campaign Manager
- Hands-on experience with DoubleClick Campaign Manager (including implementation of floodlight tags) and other tagging tools a plus
- Working knowledge of SQL a plus
- Proficiency in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
Understanding of digital media as it relates to measurement and tracking
