Job Description: Digital Production DesignerWe are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Digital Production Designer to join our client’s creative team. As a Digital Production Designer, you will play a crucial role in the production and execution of print design materials for the brand. You will work closely with the Design team to ensure the accurate translation of design concepts into final print-ready files.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Design team to understand project requirements and objectives
- Execute print design projects, including but not limited to catalogs, brochures, direct mailers, and other promotional materials
- Ensure that all design files are accurately prepared for print production, including proper file setup, color management, and resolution
- Conduct thorough quality control checks to ensure print-ready files are error-free and meet brand standards
- Collaborate with external print vendors to obtain quotes, coordinate print production, and review proofs
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in print design and production techniques
- Maintain organized file management and adhere to internal naming conventions and version control
- Assist with other design-related tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital production design, preferably in the retail or advertising industry
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software
- Strong understanding of print production processes, including color management, file preparation, and print specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to find solutions
- Knowledge of digital design and web production is a plus
