About the Role of Director of Analytics

 

As the first Director of Analytics, you will build the Analytics function inside of the company and grow a team of Analytics Engineers, Data Analysts & Data Scientists. You will also work directly with heads of all departments to define and measure the impact of investments in the end-to-end customer experience; the clients app, E-Commerce Website, Advertising channels, Customer Support, Social Media, Youtube channel, and equipment delivery experience.

 

What You Will Do

• Audit our data collection and infrastructure to identify opportunities and failure points and provide state-of-the-art solutions

• Design and execute an effective hiring action plan to build an analytics function that can fulfill the needs of the organization

• Partner with all business leads to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations

• Compile and reconcile data from multiple sources inclusive of internal and 3rd party

• Create a growth model for the company based on interactions with our owned, earned, and paid channels

 

Requirements

• 8-10 years work experience in analytics/data science/business intelligence capacity

• Prior management experience leading a team of data professionals

• Strong understanding of best practices and KPIs around e-commerce and subscription-based consumer products

• Hands-on experience with reporting and data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, etc.

• High level of proficiency in SQL, Excel/Spreadsheets, Github, Python/R

• A team player who excels in a collaborative work environment

• Capable of explaining the most complex models in a succinct and digestible manner

• Prior experience building and maintaining an ELT Data Infrastructure

• Experience with data privacy compliance is a plus
