Job description

Our client, a growing advertising agency is looking for a Director of New Business Development. This is a FTE opportunity that is onsite in the LA area.

You will be a key component in expanding our client base, actively driving the introductions and meeting with potential clients, acting as the first point of contact.

Some of the expectations of the role include:

1. Manage business development process for all client prospects assigned to Employee from beginning to end, and stay involved in the Client On-Boarding Process

2. Daily outreach to prospects via phone, email, social media, networking, trade shows, etc. 

3. On a weekly basis, implement and steward Drip Campaigns for the purpose of soliciting new business.

4. Setting-up and maintaining stellar relationships with Search Consultants companies and individuals.

5. Getting the appropriate business unit(s) into all relevant RFP's and RFI's, and working with various team members during the RFP process.

6. Networking to meet appropriate contacts as well as attending appropriate Industry Events and Trade Shows. 

7. Arranging and hosting sales functions, parties, dinners, and luncheons in the promotion of all business units.

8. Utilize Social Media Intel Report to determine the best manner to reach out to propects.

9.  Working on various newsworthy events/items, and stewarding the PR process.

10. Improvement of Sales Materials, Collateral Materials, New Business Decks, and Websites and other Promotional Materials. 

Must have 7+ years of experience in business development within an advertising agency to be considered. Apply for this job
