Graphic Designer
Full-Time Direct Hire  
$60k - $75k
Fully Onsite in Concord CA 

The Graphic Designer is a key position that will support all creative needs from the marketing, product development, sales, education, and operations teams. This position requires extreme organization, creativity, experience, self-directed execution, and being detail-oriented. This leader will approach challenges with curiosity and tenacity, have strong written and communication skills, enjoys interacting with internal departments, and is capable of multitasking and managing dozens of open projects simultaneously.

Position Responsibilities
•Work with marketing, sales, and education teams to ideate, innovate and create B2B and DTC digital marketing, social media, events, advertising, and print collateral assets.
•Work with brand and product development team to design product labeling/packaging, innovative and creative new product launch assets, in-store or in-salon merchandising, and downstream marketing assets for monthly campaigns.
•Set photo and video standards, requirements, recommendations, and complete post-processing editing as needed to be compatible with various social, digital, and print applications. 
•Develop and present multiple layout options that meet creative brief requirements with a beautiful on-brand aesthetic. Knowledge of design rules, providing feedback that would optimize digital and print needs.
•Own and execute projects from concept to production with a critical eye to catch typos, layout errors, and revision updates prior to sending drafts for approval.
•Brainstorm with cross-functional teams to improve workflow, tap industry trends, and exceed competitive brands. 

Team Responsibilities
•Update project management platform weekly and complete tasks by deadline.
•Maintain department asset library in Dropbox and Google drive.
•Identify gaps and areas for improvement, find solutions to increase productivity, project quality, decrease cost, and streamline timelines.
•Determine areas for personal professional development monthly.
•Ensure all projects and assets meet brand guidelines, messaging consistency, tie into the annual theme and monthly campaign focus.

•Work collaboratively with marketing, sales, education, and operations teams as needed.

Qualifications and Experience
•BS/BA degree in a design-related field.
•A minimum of three years of corporate experience as a graphic designer creating print and digital marketing assets for a consumer goods, beauty or cosmetics manufacturer, or retailer.
•Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 
•Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills with excellent follow-up and attention to detail to deliver projects with precision to meet tight deadlines.
•Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills.
•Extensive experience and abilities with Google G Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Slides), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Dropbox, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Premiere, Freehand/Ai Illustration, and photo/video editing experience.
•Experience working in a small but growing company environment is strongly preferred.
