Junior Accountant (Hybrid)
Overview:
This on-site entry level Accountant position will perform a variety of basic accounting tasks.
Office is located in Long Island City, New York. Some work from home days will be possible.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
Ensures that all assigned Accounting special projects and on-going areas of ownership are
completed and maintained to the Company’s standards of Excellence.
Comprehensive understanding of accounting industry principles and best practices
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Microsoft Office Suite – Superior Excel skills and Dynamics 365
Math skills
Superior organizational skills
Teamwork
Internet savvy
Analytical skills
Inventory management with a special focus on inventory receipts
Accounting best practices including but not limited to invoicing, purchasing, reconciliation, fixed
assets, auditing, general ledger journaling and month/year-end closing
Duty adjustment

Payroll backup
Corporate credit card user account maintenance and support
Superior attention to detail
College Degree in Accounting
2+ years related professional experience corporate accounting environment
