Marketing Data Scientist
We're looking for a Marketing Data Scientist to join the Marketing Team of one of the top 5 tech companies in the world, focusing on Behavioural and Product usage data.
Your role will be at the intersection of Data Scientist and Data Analyst. As an Analyst you will be responsible for analyzing data relating to how our client is used on a daily basis. As a Data Scientist, you will measure the incremental impact of the Marketing campaigns the team is running. You will conduct experiments and causal lift studies to help measure the performance of campaigns, and identify & shape future campaign strategies.
Responsibilities
Conduct end-to-end analysis of data; from data gathering, processing, analysis, to insight synthesis and presentation - to measure the causal impact of campaigns and product launches etc.
Create succinct monthly/quarterly reports & build dashboards to share findings of data analysis at executive level.
Monitor data via database queries & dashboards, prepare insights and visualizations, identify trends and slice & dice data to inform decisions across multiple regions and teams.
Coordinate with the Global and Regional teams to share insights and perform on Marketing campaign performance reviews.
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Marketing data analytics
Proficient in data mining / query writing (SQL) and dashboard manipulation
Working knowledge in Python / R
Expertise with Excel/Google Sheets, and analysis / statistics techniques
Strong data visualization and communication & data storytelling skills; able to build clear and simple charts to communicate complex ideas.
Fluent English and confident presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience working with App/Website data analytics - familiarity with concepts relating to User behavior measurement; eg retention, incrementality, app penetration etc. OR experience in financial modeling and forecasting.
Working knowledge of data visualization / dashboarding tools (eg Tableau)
