Job description

Our ecommerce client is looking to bring on an Omnichannel Manager to their team on a fulltime basis. This role will be hybrid 2x a week in Mt. Prospect.

  •  Primary focus will be on driving bottom-of-funnel conversions to purchase, with additional focus on upsell and cross-sell, replenishment/repeat purchase, loyalty, and customer lifetime value (LTV)
  •  Collaborate with internal Integrated Marketing and Digital leaders on plans that drive e-commerce (as part of the broader Digital Marketing mix)
  • Identify the right tools for always on performance tracking and optimization
  • Drive meaningful and relevant personalization at scale
  • Lead development and execution of annual Omni-channel marketing plans and programming for strategic retail customers, in collaboration with Brand, e-Commerce, and Sales teams
  •  Lead and manage shopper marketing agency relationship(s) to ensure flawless execution of programs through strong project management, creative briefing and scorecards against established goals outlined in the brief
  • Own the shopper marketing, omni and RMN budget and work with Marketing, Accounting, Finance, and Sales to track budget spend and manage against monthly and annual plans
  • You will partner with cross functional sales teams on meeting and exceeding eCommerce growth plan and corporate profitability standards, ensuring right mix of media that is optimized to meet the sales targets and is truly ‘full funnel marketing’
  • Conduct post-program analysis to summarize and communicate retailer specific program impact (versus KPIs), lessons learned, and incorporate learning into future program development
  •  Serve as liaison between Sales and Brand Team to ensure Omni-Channel programming delivers on both Brand and Customer objectives
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Omni-Channel Marketing for key retailers, advancing their plans, driving cohesion across brands and integrated marketing plans
  •  Expertise in retailer media and building omnichannel experiences
  •  Led development of digital shelf content
  •  Experience building strategy and overseeing execution across different platforms
  • Strong knowledge of content platforms like Syndigo, Kwikee, and Widen DAM
  • Strong working knowledge of digital measurement tools, including expertise in site analytics tools
  • Proficient in Internet navigation, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, Content Analytics, WebCollage, Nielsen, Brandbank, Power Reviews, Amazon Vendor Central, Walmart Retail Link, and Supplier Center
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to influence others and move towards a common vision and/or goal
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated experience working effectively with all levels of management and team members
  • Depth of experience developing a roster of third-party vendors; manage vendor contracts, and plan budgets effectively
  • Travel: Up to 10 domestic trips annually
  • Broad knowledge of media ecosystem, conversant with digital media returns on investment, retailer systems and eCommerce content best practices
  • Exceptional project management experience with experience in managing multiple agency and 3rd party relationships
  • Highly intellectually curious about the changing digital and media landscape and pivoting towards future needs with the right mar tech and ad tech
  • You have bias for action and always strive to test and learn new A/B scenarios, stay apprised of industry trends and best practices
  •  You have a performance mindset driven approach and continually assess what’s working, what’s not working using data, analytics and storytelling to adjust, repackage, eliminate and accelerate content for our brands
  • You enjoy defining the metrics, delivering growth and then restating the metrics in pursuit of new growth
  • You excel thinking strategically while having the ability to roll up your sleeves and execute with excellence in partnership with in-house and external agencies
