Product Development AssociateThis is a Full Time Direct Hire position. Mon - Fri schedule onsite in Los Angeles. Salary: $65K - 75K dependent on experience.
Our client is an established fashion apparel manufacturer seeking an Associate Product Developer to join their team.
Our client’s product team is looking for an Associate Product Developer to support product development projects. Our client is seeking a highly organized and motivated team member to help them continue to innovate. As the Associate Product Developer, your role is critical in supporting Product Managers as they develop and launch new products and monitor product quality.
Responsibilities:
- Own purchase order (PO) creation and updates to support the total Product Development team
- Process all product data including fabric information, quantities, color information, etc. into various production management systems and spreadsheets ensuring accuracy and integrity of all records
- Assist in creating/formatting presentation materials for meetings, including collecting digital assets (internally and from vendors) in advance
- Maintain day-to-day cross-functional communication with vendors and internal team in a timely and appropriate manner
- Work on providing costing breakdown and negotiate with vendors on best pricing
- Partner with Buying, Product Development, Sample Operations, and warehouse teams to access samples, help resolve any product issues with vendors, and manage the returns to vendor process
Qualifications:
1-3 years of Product Development and /or Sourcing experience in the apparel industry
1-3 years of working within multiple categories knits and wovens
