Job Description:We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Production Artist to join our client’s creative team. As a Production Artist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our print design and production materials. You will collaborate closely with the design team and contribute to the successful execution of creative projects.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the design team to understand project requirements and objectives
- Execute the production of print design materials, including but not limited to catalogs, brochures, signage, packaging, and other promotional materials
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of design assets, including colors, fonts, images, and layouts
- Prepare files for print production, following established guidelines and specifications
- Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes, review proofs, and ensure timely delivery of printed materials
- Maintain organized file management and adhere to version control processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to file preparation and print production
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in print design and production
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Production Artist or in a similar role
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software
- Strong understanding of print production processes, including color management, file preparation, and prepress techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and digital design principles is a plus
