Our client, is a leading player in the wholesale fashion industry, known for innovative designs and commitment to quality. They are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Sales Assistant to join our team and support our sales operations.
Job Summary: As a Sales Assistant in the wholesale fashion industry, your primary responsibility will be to support the sales team in achieving their goals and ensuring a smooth operation of the sales process. You will assist with various tasks such as managing customer inquiries, processing orders, coordinating shipments, and maintaining accurate records of sales activities.
Location: Pasadena
This role is full-time, direct hire.
MUST WORK IN OFFICE
Rate: up to $70k/annually
Key Responsibilities:

Customer Support:
- Manage customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Address client needs promptly and professionally.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Sales Support:
- Assist with order processing, shipping updates, and follow-up.
- Prepare digital sales packages and presentations for customers.
- Upload product information via Excel templates for digital account presentations.
- Prepare, track, and distribute weekly selling reports and templates.

Event Support:
- Assist with showroom prep, including sample management.
- Support the sales team during market appointments and customer visits.
- Attend trade shows or showroom events to showcase products and assist with generating new business opportunities.

Administrative Tasks:
- Handle special projects as assigned.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.

Requirements:

Experience:
- Experience as a Sales Assistant in the wholesale apparel industry or as an Assistant Buyer in the retail industry is a must.
- Previous experience in the fashion industry or a similar wholesale environment is beneficial.

Skills:
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel and Adobe.
- Ability to learn new systems, including company-specific software.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic retail math knowledge.
