Freelance Wholesale Sales Assistant
Client Overview: A leading apparel brand is seeking a wholesale sales associate to join their team.
Position Overview: As the freelance Sales Assistant, will you will Support Sr Account Executives on all aspects of account management for specialty retail accounts to help maximize sales while maintaining optimal relationships with customers.
Sales Assistant Responsibilities:
• Order Management: Following orders through the end-to-end process to ensure shipments, including communication to accounts
• Preparing and analyzing shipping and product performance reports
• Customer service: following through the end-to-end process to ensure any customer concerns are researched and problems solved
• Administrative: manage customer data base including accounts lists and contacts; updating planning tool (SAS) monthly and as needed
• Supports Sell In and Strategy meetings
Sales Assistant Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience within account management/merchandising
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated; ability to take initiative to complete tasks quickly and independently
- Strong sense of urgency, organization and attention to detail
- High level of proficiency in retail math and Excel
