Job Summary:

The Sample Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Patternmaking team within by coordinating and managing the sample development process. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of samples.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sample Management:
- Coordinate and track the sample development process from initial concept to final production samples.
- Ensure all samples are accurately labeled, logged, and stored in the sample room.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure samples are available for fittings, meetings, and other necessary purposes.
- Maintain sample inventory and update sample tracking systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.

2. Communication and Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between the Patternmaking team and other departments, such as Design, Merchandising, and Production.
- Communicate sample status, changes, and updates to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any sample-related issues or discrepancies.

3. Quality Control:
- Conduct thorough quality checks on all samples to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications.
- Identify and document any issues or discrepancies with samples and communicate them to the appropriate teams for resolution.
- Work closely with the Patternmaking team to address any fit or construction issues identified during the sample development process.

4. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of sample development, including sample requests, tracking sheets, and fit comments.
- Generate and distribute sample reports to key stakeholders, highlighting sample status, progress, and any outstanding issues.
- Assist in preparing sample presentations for internal reviews, fittings, and other meetings as required.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sample coordination or a similar role within the fashion industry.
- Strong knowledge of patternmaking, garment construction, and fit processes.
- Proficient in using sample tracking systems and other relevant software.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven
