Senior Handbag Designer Responsibilities:
- Handbag sketching and executing designs
- Create full tech packs
- Manage full style revisions to PP
- Manage sample rounds and email communication with factories
- Keep library in share drive for all tech pack styles/revisions
- Enter all information into PLM
- Creates CADs and tech packs for novelty faces
- CAD entire line for sign-off and placement for factories working closely with senior design director
- Stay up to date on all fashion and trends
Senior Handbag Designer Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years’ accessory design and development experience
- Exceptional sense of style, fabric, seasonal, color and technical knowledge
- Creative and innovative design and conceptualization ability
- Ability to build collaborative relationships across departments and with vendors.
