24 Seven is partnering with a well-known digital agency based in Portland, OR to help them find a Senior Media Buyer join their team in this hybrid role! This is full-time, direct hire opportunity. Details on the role are below.Responsibilities:
- Effectively lead client media strategy and mentor junior-level team members in order to meet or exceed client and campaign expectations
- Research, develop and manage holistic media plans agnostic of media type, channel, publisher
- Oversee, negotiate and buy media across the media mix (digital and traditional)
- Manage multiple client media campaigns and projects at any given time (including budgets, timelines, adhering to high standards for quality of work)
- Collaborate within the media team and with cross-functional teams including client services, creative department, analytics and accounting department
- Maintain healthy client relationships and identify areas of opportunity for strategic client account growth
- Solid understanding of the media landscape and current advertising/media industry trends
- Ability to confidently lead media strategy for various clients and industry verticals
- Skilled in deriving clear insights from digital campaign data and able to mentor team members in developing concise client reports
- Solid experience utilizing campaign analytics and syndicated research to inform future campaign approach
- Clear understanding of current industry best practices involving digital paid media trafficking, brand safety, analytics and reporting
- Effective interpersonal skills, interest in research, curious and adaptable as environments change (growth mindset)
- Resourceful and proactive in improving processes and practices
- Approach group projects and tasks with a people-first mindset and seek to understand when navigating complex projects with others
- Ability to provide positive mentorship to junior team members (including strategic direction and constructive feedback)

- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and possess the ability to present client-facing materials
- Effective in utilizing self-service digital media ad platforms, trafficking platforms, data dashboards, research tools and media buying software
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proficient with Google Workspace (sheets, documents, slides) and Keynote preferred
- Exhibit proficiency with media analytics, planning and buying tools (ex. Campaign Manager 360, Google Tag Manager, comScore, Google Analytics, Nielsen, MRI-Simmons, Strata, TapClicks, etc.)
- Possess a solid ability to multi-task and clear attention to detail
- Exhibit resourcefulness and proactivity in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients
The ideal candidate for this position would have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing or Advertising preferred.
- 5+ years minimum media planning and buying experience, with digital emphasis.
