Job description
We are seeking a Women’s Sr. Merchant to support the development & execution of the Women’s tops and layers product.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive assortment strategies across E-commerce, Store, Wholesale & International channels, identifying new product opportunities to deliver high growth expectations
- Maintain an understanding of the competitive landscape and impart key insights into line development
- Build seasonal & annual line plans
- Support in the creation of the tops 3-year innovation roadmap, guiding long-range fabric & style expansion
- Partner with the planning team on seasonal investment strategy. Provide guidance on style-level investment strategy
- Create and manage all seasonal assortment tools
- Support the buying and development product calendar for all channels
- Participate in weekly fittings, ultimately responsible for style adoption and execution
Qualifications:
- 6+ years merchandising experience
- Background in women’s apparel preferred
- Strong understanding of women's apparel market and trends
- PLM experience a plus
