Job description

We are seeking a motivated and retail-experienced candidate to lead the go-to-market strategy for Sephora (both dotcom and brick & mortar). Our ideal candidate would have a strong background with Sephora and would have a deep understanding of the skincare/beauty landscape.

Responsibilities: 
•    Develop scalable retail marketing efforts to increase brand awareness, drive traffic and increase sales
•    Evaluate effectiveness of channel marketing programming and optimize in real time
•    Liaise directly with Sephora merchants, leading bi-weekly touch bases, pitching for incremental exposures and support, and balancing their feedback with the needs of the brand
•    Lead quarterly strategic alignment meetings with Sephora and bi-annual Market Week meeting prep
•    Conduct clear analyses and reporting deep-dives of channel sales, promotions and animations, recommending contingency plans where needed to meet sales goals
•    Partner with Education team to support their needs on in-store eventing execution and logistics
•    Lead the strategy and execution of Sephora.com P-pages
•    Liaise with Visual Merchandising Manager
•    Partner with Specialist to prepare and brief creative for production and editing of marketing channel assets
•    Lead the sampling program strategy and execution in Sephora, Kohls and Sephora Mexico channels, as well as kitted sampling programs
•    Verify Sephora and Kohls forecasts for innovation and product advancements 
•    Support strategic channel campaign programming from inception through execution (both full price and promotional programming)
•    Lead the Digital Retailer Animation and Co-op strategy and execution
•    Collaborate cross functionally with product marketing, consumer marketing, influencer marketing and social teams
•    Maintain pulse on industry best practices for beauty marketing as well as performance benchmarking 
•    Assist Assoc. Director with annual A&P budget reconciliation and program invoices

Qualifications:
-    5+ years of industry-related marketing work experience
-    2+ years of experience with Sephora 
-    Gen Z brand or elevated skincare brand experience preferred
-    Bachelor or higher degree
