Our client, a beauty company is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join their team!

Full time, direct hire

Hybrid in DTLA office (in office Tues-Thurs, WFH Mon/Fri)
Salary: $65-$75k DOE
About the Position:
A critical member of the  team, this role will collaboratively support the development and execution of our brands’ social media strategy and content, assisting in the elevation of our owned social channels and strategy. The ideal candidate is eager to help foster a dynamic, engaged brand community and help bring our brands’ vision to life.
Essential Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
· Help develop, maintain, and execute social content calendar for 3+ brands that aligns with key marketing initiatives
· Work closely with Director of Marketing, Brand Manager, and creative team to ensure that brand voice is consistent, appropriate, and optimized for each channel
· Consistently track social performance against goal KPIs, using findings to suggest actionable insights and growth recommendations
· Regularly prepare reports and performance updates for leadership team, as well as social highlights for general team
· Work closely and collaboratively across cross-functional departments to align on key initiatives, supporting with social-first ideas that drive positive brand experiences
· Day-to-day account management
· Engage and foster brand community (managing DMs, replying to comments, use and engage branded hashtags)
· Assist with in-house content creation as needed
· Create social teasers, input music, graphics and effects to existing videos
· Assist in the development and management of our social media best practices, policies, and overall strategies (paid, organic, brand ambassador programs)
· Help put together social media creative briefs, proposals, requests for third-party partnerships
· Support Director of Marketing and team to execute ongoing marketing initiatives that perform towards our strategic objectives
· Assist with content library management, development, and usage rights to ensure appropriate use across branded assets
· Help maintain timelines for content creation, with coordination between creative, Marketing and any third party partners
· Help prepare presentations and communicate updates for both internal and external brand stakeholders
· Brainstorm creative ways to enhance our customer experience and garner brand buzz digitally that drives traffic to retailers
· Support with any additional projects as directed
· 1-3 years experience working in social media, with ownership of key social platforms
· Passion and strong knowledge of social media and digital trends, specifically TikTok and Instagram
· Knowledge of Photoshop or proficiency in creative programs and in-app editing
· Growth mindset: An optimistic attitude
· Passion for the Beauty products or services category
· A digital native, deep familiarity with social and community platforms, and analytics tools and engine
