Social Strategist for TikTok
100% remote
Full-time, contract role for 6-8 weeks
Start: 5/23, ideally!
Reports to: Director of Strategy

Latinx-owned, woman-founded and led creative marketing and communications agency that is immersed in the media landscape. Their target audience is millennial moms!
About this project:
You will be at the forefront of a social launch for a well-known toy brand. You will will empower their client to think like a media company when approaching their TikTok channel—blending brand goals and messaging with relatability, humor, brave creativity and of-the-moment social conversation and trends.
The Social Strategist is responsible for research, insights and developing a strategic approach for our clients’ social channels, with a focus on TikTok channel strategy.
Responsibilities and Deliverables:
- Lead audience, category, and cultural research to uncover key strategic insights that will inform the social strategy for our client’s TikTok channel
- Develop social strategy for clients’ TikTok channel
- Outline a messaging framework and content pillars to inform content plan
- Develop content plan to guide first 3 months of TikTok channel content creation
- Develop TikTok playbook for client, including content guidelines, creator guidelines, and brand voice and tone that ensures all content is executed according to strategy
- Develop workflow for identifying and acting on trends.
- Recommend a starting list of TikTok creators to bring channel content to life
About you:
- 4-6+ years of Social Strategy experience, particularly on TikTok and Instagram
- Active TikTok user
- Video content creation experience, particularly on TikTok and Instagram
- Deep understanding of social media trends, particularly on TikTok and Instagram
- Strong client presentation skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Collaborative, communicative and able to act independently
