Our client is  seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Stock Lead. As a Stock Lead, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the stockroom and inventory management processes. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management:
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming merchandise shipments.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of inventory data into the system.
- Conduct regular stock counts and audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with inventory levels.

2. Stockroom Organization:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient stockroom.
- Implement proper storage techniques to maximize space utilization.
- Develop and enforce procedures for stockroom organization and cleanliness.
- Ensure all merchandise is properly labeled and easily accessible.

3. Replenishment and Stocking:
- Coordinate with sales team to determine stock needs and priorities.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate reordering as necessary.
- Receive and process stock transfers between locations.
- Ensure merchandise is properly displayed and stocked on the sales floor.

4. Team Management:
- Train and supervise stockroom associates on proper inventory management procedures.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to the stockroom team.
- Conduct performance evaluations and address any performance issues.

5. Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to inventory management.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in retail management or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in stockroom management or inventory control.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy boxes and merchandise.
