Supply Chain Manager (BEAUTY)

Job Description:
  • Owns monthly inventory adjustments, reporting and reconciliation for each warehouse location + CM components inventory / in transit moving inventory.
  • Owns management of inventory inbound of finished goods and outbound transfers of parts and pieces related to manufacturing and sales operations
  • Works alongside planning to ensure 3-6 inventory supply at 3PLs + Amazon locations to avoid out of stocks Logistics and Transportation
  • Works with CMs to handle separating finished goods to move directly to international 3PLs and Amazon to avoid excess costs (managing labeling and packing requirements and inbound appointments)
  • Works with freight forwarders to manage separating shipments to move to final destination, packed according to CM inbound requirements to avoid chargebacks.
  • Works with forwarders to track all moving shipments for open POs to provide updates to CMs.
  • Utilizes multiple freight providers to quote on moving shipments domestically within the US (landed components to CM or finished goods from CM to 3PL warehouse) and onto both Canada and UK 3PL.
  • Handles all shipping account management, close contact for forwarders + carrier reps
  • Overseas best shipping options for any major account or distributor (FOB or Ex-Works terms) from 3PL warehouse to receiving account including all shipping paperwork requirements completed to avoid chargebacks or shipping issues internationally
  • Optimize transportation for cost-effective delivery Purchasing and Planning
  • Manage and maintain master data within all necessary portals (SKUs, Dimensions & Weights, UPCs, and HTS/Tariff Codes) to enable quick item/vendor setups
  • Handle the end to end of freight in / freight out for each PO to meet target in hand requirements ensuring full compliance.
  • Work with the Director of Operations on a weekly open PO report to communicate status updates by PO as related to the MPS.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to successfully launch new products as necessary
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within operations
  • In partnership with Director of Operations, be responsible for supporting the day to day operations across our omni channel business through the direct ownership of operational tasks and responsibilities that are core to Salt & Stone operations
  • Provide regular reports on key metrics- including on-time delivery and inventory levels
