Contact name: Casey Broday

Job description

Salary: $55-$60K

Hybrid, onsite at least 1-2x/week; may ramp up during political season

Political experience is a big plus

Our client is a creative political firm. They are a full-service creative marketing agency offering branding, design, print, website and app development, and video.

The Traffic Coordinator ensures that the ad agency’s deliverables get done on time. You’ll need routing and scheduling skills to help us support political, non-profit, and corporate clients.

As part of their team, you’ll see our decades of experience in the field, but you’ll be the one ensuring that their process is fine-tuned and runs well. Your colleagues will be former political campaign managers, digital ad experts, award-winning designers, and more—all working collaboratively to help their clients win.

We’re looking for traffic coordinators who know how design works—may have been criticized for working too quickly or being too organized—always have the answer when someone asks what is next—surprisingly seem to never be overwhelmed.

The Traffic Coordinator must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.  The political landscape can change in a moment, with the focus being getting the best creative to deliver the best message.

•    You’ll assist with daily and long-term project management, ensuring design, printing, and mailing run smoothly.
•    You’ll be communicating with the operations team and the accounts team on work-in-progress and ensuring everything is done on time.
•    You should have an extremely well sense of organizational skills.
•    There’s some design support needed: opening files, making changes, prepping things for print. We’ll want to know you’re comfortable with this technical part of the job.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Traffic Coordinator works alongside our Traffic Manager to track, route, approve, and post deliverables for designs. The coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the required approvals are obtained for each order and that the correct approved artwork is married to each order. The coordinator will at times manipulate art files for minor changes, use project management software to manage projects (yep), and work comfortably in a fast paced, high-volume role.
