Our client, an agency in Los Angeles is looking for a UX/UI Designer to join their team!Freelance or temp to hire

Rate: $40-$50/hr DOE
MUST HAVES:
- Ecommerce experience
- Shopify experience
- Proficient in Figma
Looking for an experienced and self-motivated UX/UI Designer that is detail-oriented, client obsessed, organized, and has strong communication skills. They will be able to collaborate with stakeholders of all levels and interact with and present to clients professionally and respectfully. This role will collaborate with and report directly to the Chief Product Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with clients to understand business goals and objectives
- Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements and user feedback in collaboration with Ecommerce Strategist
- Create, develop and/or optimize usability audits, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, sitemaps, mock ups, with a mobile first approach, that looks to solve existing business problems
- Identify, troubleshoot and solve for existing UX/UI issues
- Guide and document how and why components, styles and patterns are applied in code and design
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams
- Effectively collaborate with product, project management and engineering teams
- Continually explore opportunities to enhance, improve, and expand methodologies and work
- Example Projects: Full ecommerce site redesigns, New or optimized ecommerce site features, Usability site audits
- 3+ years experience in eCommerce
- Experience with Shopify and other ecommerce platforms
- Agency experience preferred
- Proficient in Figma
- A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms
- Ability to juggle multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong sense of ownership
- Strong communication skills to convey and articulate designs to both clients and internal team
