Job description


The client is seeking a talented and experienced UX Writer to join their IA Architecture team. As a UX Writer, you will play a crucial role in crafting the user experience through the power of words. You will collaborate with designers, researchers, and developers to create intuitive, engaging, and user-focused content for our digital products.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and product requirements.
2. Write and edit clear, concise, and engaging content for user interfaces, including microcopy, labels, tooltips, error messages, and onboarding materials.
3. Create and maintain a consistent tone of voice and style guidelines across all digital platforms.
4. Conduct content audits and provide recommendations for improving the overall user experience.
5. Collaborate with designers to ensure that content and design are seamlessly integrated.
6. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and refine content strategies.
7. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in UX writing and information architecture.
8. Advocate for the user by championing clear and accessible language throughout the design process.
9. Collaborate with localization teams to ensure that content is culturally appropriate and effectively translated for global audiences.
10. Continuously iterate and improve upon content based on user feedback and data analysis.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communication, HCI, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a UX Writer or similar role, preferably in a technology or design-focused company.
3. Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional writing and editing skills for user interfaces.
4. Proficiency in understanding complex technical concepts and translating them into user-friendly language.
5. Familiarity with UX design principles and methodologies.
6. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
7. Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
8. Experience with user research and usability testing methodologies is a plus.
