Job description

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Develops and creates, with the Visual Manager, seasonal POG’s, visual displays and visual collateral that will maximize sales and enhance the brand presentation. 
  2. Understands key properties/programs and product investments to ensure appropriate execution of visual direction to stores.
  3. Compose clear and concise visual direction to effectively convey business updates to ensure accurate in-store execution that is on-brand and to maximize sales.
  4. Provides visual direction to the field through weekly refreshers, POG’s and Visual memos. Drives visual direction in response to inventory.
  5. Work collaboratively with cross functional partners to ensure business strategies and objectives are clearly communicated within all visual tools.
  6. Analyze fixture fill and capacity to ensure maximum inventory is presented to customer in a brand appropriate manner
  7. Responsible for the layout and production of internal visual direction for stores.
  8. Field analysis for brand stores to ensure compliance with direction, as well as competitors to understand and translate trends that would be effective to implement into our business.
  9. Generate new ideas and evolve current visual tools to be more effective and on pace with business changes.
  10. Photographs in-store presentations and edits images for companywide visual direction.
  11. Participates in the POG store set process to ensure accurate direction and ability for stores to effectively deliver visual intent.
  12. Works collaboratively with Buying/Merchant team, Planning/Allocation, Store Ops, and marketing in the creation of POG’s, weekly refreshers and promo updates.
  13. Manage with Marketing the communication, visual direction, calendar, and execution of all marketing campaign signage set ups and sign pack delivery dates to help further drive sales.
  14. Performs other job duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience & Education
  1. 3 – 5 years of visual merchandising and store experience, with proven track record in retail industry.
  2. Strong visual merchandising and presentation skills
  3. Retail management experience preferred
  4. Excellent visual merchandising and presentation skills, interpretation of brand direction across assigned territory.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Bachelor degree preferred.

  1. Strong understanding of merchandising strategies and store operations.
  2. Self-starter with strong, proven organizational skills, self-discipline, strong decision making capabilities and problem solving skills.
  3. Strong communication and leadership skills.
  4. Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills and able to present information to HQ partners.
  5. Approaches obstacles proactively and looks for ways to resolve problems and issues.
  6. Strong computer skills in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Excel, Outlook, and Publisher.

  1. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend and lift/move up to 10 pounds.  May lift/move up to 30 pounds occasionally. Moving up/down ladders.
